Loutaya traces its roots back to a beautiful blend of love, tradition, and passion.

Founded by a young couple, the journey began with the shared dreams and aspirations of a Congolese husband and his South African wife.

It all started with the husband’s deep-rooted love for health and wellness. Born in the heart of Brazzaville, he grew up surrounded by the natural abundance of the land, where traditional remedies and herbal teas were cherished for their healing properties.

Inspired by his upbringing and a desire to share the goodness of Congolese culture with the world, he envisioned creating a line of teas that would not only tantalize the taste buds but also nourish the body and soul.
